​Vučić and Mali visit of Belgrade Waterfront construction site

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and Belgrade Mayor Siniša Mali have visited today the works on the construction of Belgrade Waterfront and walked down the Sava promenade to the construction site of first two residential towers of that project.

The prime minister told the press that the works were progressing well and that he was very satisfied.

-Within next three months Lasta Bus Station will be relocated to Block 42 in Novi Beograd and works on the big tower within Belgrade Waterfront project are to start as soon as in late January – Vučić said, adding that Belgrade will look a lot different, not only with respect to its tourist offer, fun and entertainment, but with respect to new building enterprises, and culture and tradition as well and that it will be one of most attractive places and cities in Europe, having in mind safety and security in particular.

The prime minister announced that the reconstructions of facades in Kosančićev venac are also to start this year and, as he said, the city and the republic will reconstruct first 40 facades together as well as the area in the direction of Kalemegdan, so foreigners can learn why Belgrade is named that way.  

According to him, the construction of Belgrade Waterfront will contribute significantly to the growth of GDP and to the increase in the entire building industry and the capacities and the abilities of our building companies as well.
