In its latest issue, the renowned global magazine Mondo Arc, specialised in architecture, praised the Sava Promenade, a project which was carried out by a company from our country - Millennium Team, as a fine example of modern design and technology.
Mondo Arc also emphasised the fact that the Sava Promenade brings with it “a quality that has not yet been witnessed in our parts”. The above-mentioned fact is what has launched the Belgrade Waterfront project to the top of the list of potential winners of Darc Awards in architecture.
Experts estimate that the Belgrade Waterfront project has become a leader and role model for rehabilitation of urban areas thanks to its innovative and sustainable design. Sava Promenade has become a new urban zone in which nature and urban environment are intertwined thus creating an added quality to life in the capital city of Serbia.
The article published in the renowned magazine, Mondo Arc, in its retrospective on Sava Promenade states that the light patterns have been designed in a manner which facilitates a comfortable and soothing public area. The above-mentioned effect has been achieved in a manner where all areas have not been exposed to same light patterns. Some of the lighting elements descended onto a lower level thus enabling forming of surfaces under contrast and integrating of lighting into an urban mobilier and landscape elements, in areas where it was found as appropriate.
The above-mentioned praise of the project is just one in a series of recognitions that establish the Sava Promenade as a successful project within professional circles as well as a thing of interest of magazines such as Mondo Arc and ISSUU.
