Less than a month from laying the foundation stone of the first building of Belgrade Waterfront, three out of 456 piles were already driven into the ground. The Mayor of Belgrade Siniša Mali visited the works today.

- I promised to regularly check the works on the project of constructing the Belgrade Waterfront, and it is my pleasure to say that the works are ahead of schedule. We are seven days ahead of schedule right now. It will take 152 days per project to finish driving the piles, but within three months we expect the first part to be finished, so that we can start constructing above ground – stated Mayor Mali.

The Mayor pointed out that if works continue at this pace, the citizens of Belgrade will be able to see as soon as January how the BW Residences residential towers are rising. In addition to that, the Belgrade Tower and W Hotel project are being finished.

- We are working on starting the preparatory works for the big Belgrade Tower and the W Hotel in the next three months, so that by early spring next year, we will have three buildings that are already being constructed above ground – explained the Mayor Siniša Mali.
