-The company Millennium Team donated school supplies to the Drop in Shelter in New Belgrade this year as well. We are proud because, traditionally, at the beginning of each school year, we try to provide help to those who need it the most. In this case, it is also the most socially endangered group, so we are especially proud. The Millennium Team is a company that is committed to the concept of social responsibility and we try to give an example of a positive impact on the environment in which we work, - said Ana Stošić, Director of the sector for Quality and Development at Millennium Team.
Jelena Aćimović, an educator at the Drop in Shelter, points out that our company’s donation means a lot to them for a successful start to the new school year. - The donation means a lot to us, and I want to use this opportunity on behalf of the Drop in Shelter to thank you for the important donation. It is equally important that children will have all necessary school supplies until the end of the school year, said Jelena Aćimović. Children who live, beg or do physical work on the street, can only get away from extreme weather, bathe, have a safe meal, clothes or shoes at the Drop in Shelter. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic also affected these young schoolchildren. - We are obliged to apply protective measures due to the epidemiological situation. On a daily basis, we must not have more than thirteen children and adults in the space at one time. There are up to forty children a day, but they come in small groups. The socially responsible corporation Millennium Team develops its business not only by investing in the most modern technological achievements and employees, but also through various philanthropic activities aimed at improving the entire community. This is perhaps the best invitation for other companies to get involved in similar actions. The working hours of the Drop i Shelter are from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, and on weekends from 10 am to 6 pm. Everyone who has the will and desire to support young schoolchildren is welcome.
