Our company, Millennium Team, was entrusted with execution of construction works on the cascading terraces.
– The construction works in this particular case extend to walking trails on slopes, bank reinforcements, and planting of specific trees, the roots of which can grow underwater. We would like to extend this promenade, that is already the finest looking one in Europe, down to Sava so that the citizens of Belgrade and visitors of the capital city can enjoy the beauties of this river. We will continue with works on bank reinforcements all the way up to the new Belgrade tower, that are scheduled for completion in two months' time, while at the same time we have works pending regarding the extension of the promenade from the Belgrade tower to the Belgrade Fair – Mali stated.
According to him, the city of Belgrade will rework the Promenade from the Belgrade Fair up to Ada Ciganlija, with works scheduled to begin by end of 2018 and beginning of 2019.
–The entire stretch of the Promenade from Beton hala and 25. maj all the way up to Ada Ciganlija will be completed by 2019 after which it will transform into something that we can all be proud of. The promenade will be several kilometres long and it will be a true place for enjoyment – emphasised the mayor. He also reminded us of the fact that recently a presentation on the new Sava bridge was held, with the construction works scheduled to begin during the second half of 2019.
-This particular bridge will become another Belgrade landmark. Design should be complete by the end of the year, while we are also working on securing funds. The new bridge will fully fit into the ambiance of Belgrade waterfront, it will be new and modern – stated Mali and added that the construction works are running according to schedule as well as that above-ground works will begin on two additional residential towers and new shopping mall that will be the biggest in the Balkans.
The Mayor used this opportunity to talk with the workers and commended them for working diligently even though it was Sunday.
