The construction of faecal sewerage in settlement Surčin

The faecal sewerage project in settlement Surčin encompasses construction of low pressure sewerage network for used waters. The network is made of pipe lines with diameter from Ø75 to Ø160 mm made of polyethylene quality PE 100 for operating pressure of 6 bars

The faecal sewerage project in settlement Surčin encompasses construction of low pressure sewerage network for used waters. The network is made of pipe lines with diameter from Ø75 to Ø160 mm made of polyethylene quality PE 100 for operating pressure of 6 bars

The total length of low pressure sewerage network is L=45.100 m.

The pipelines are sunken at 1.4 to 1.6 meters depth.  The bifurcations (under the angle of 45°) are mounted on pipelines(Ø75 to Ø160 mm) for making household connections . The bifurcations are special fittings of diameter equal to that of street pipeline and shunts towards households with diameter of DN 63 mm. The shunt is designed as a typical one with a length of cca 1 m and ends with a type welded plug. The joints on a pipeline and shunt are made by electrofusion manner of welding.

The project prescribes for all households to connect onto low-pressure sewerage. The existing collective housing structures, schools and public facilities will be connected onto gravity sewer.
